I have enjoyed teaching at hydro school for about 2 years. It is a friendly and fun environment for kids to enjoy learning to swim. In my experience if kids aren't enjoying being in the water they will struggle to learn to swim. I also love the fact that as teachers we can share swimming experiences and skills to always improve our teaching and make are lessons interesting and FUN. Happy swimming Claire xx

I've worked as an ASA level 1&2 swimming teacher for 3 years now, with previous years of experience of being a swimmer myself and being a TA for other teachers in the water interacting with the swimmers. I find learning to swim really important for children as I feel it is an necessary life skill they need to know, but should have fun whilst learning which I love to incorporate. I am currently studying PE at University to go on to be a Primary Education teacher, so working with children is something I am definitely passionate about!
