Hydroschool is a Swim England recognised and dedicated Learn to Swim School. Our sole focus is ensuring your children safely learn to swim and enjoy their lessons with us. We pride ourselves in delivering great lessons for our swimmers using our hand picked and highly qualified teaching teams both in Eastbourne and Bexhill.

With our Lesson Coordinators always on poolside you always have one of the management team to talk to about progress and the next steps or simply to just answer a quick question. We take pride in what we do and that shows in the dedication of our teachers and Lesson Coordinators.

I am thrilled to have started hydroschool 10 years ago and cant quite believe we are now starting to celebrate this anniversary. Hydroschool is inclusive for everyone and is dedicated to helping anyone learn to swim from beginners to lane swimmers, SEN and disabilities if we can help we will. Our teachers are hand picked for their teaching abilities and enthusiasm for swimming so our lessons always deliver results.

I have been a competitive swimmer since age 9 and swam at national level now sadly retired from competition but still have a real passion for helping others in swimming. I am a Swim England Level 2 qualified teacher and Level 2 qualified coach and when I am not running hydroschool I coach competitive swimmers at Eastbourne Swimming Club.

Swimming is such an important part of any bodies safety and life skills and this is why hydroschool was born 10 years ago.

We would love to hear from you if you are considering swimming lessons.

I am very pleased to be joining Hydroschool. I have a vast experience in all levels of swimming from Adult and child to Masters. Both in the pool and Open Water. I still train and compete for Sussex. I was British 50m Backstroke champion in 2012 for my age. I am looking forward to helping every child achieve their own personal goals. Swimming teaching is not a job, it is a passion. Every lesson is a pleasure.

I'm a mum of 3 young children, I work as a nursery nurse during the day, I've always loved working with children and swimming so decided to combine both. I really enjoy teaching beginners especially the nervous ones, it's such a proud moment to watch a nervous child become water confident!

I'm a father of 3 lovely children. Started my life out as a rugby player, playing for Eastbourne, Sussex and then to trials and youth development training camps at London Irish & Saracens, Finally achieving my dream of playing professional rugby at Twickenham. Through love of sport I became a swimming coach.
I used to be where you are now, watching my children at swimming lessons at hydroschool. With hydroschools help I went from parent to volunteer, to Swimming Teacher and now for the last few years a Swim England Level 2 swimming coach. I enjoy teaching people of all ages. Swimming is now a passion and all I want to do is share my knowledge and help others learn to swim
