Meet the Team

Image

Hi, I'm Adrian, the Director here at hydroschool.
I've been involved in swimming for longer than I can remember! I started as a young swimmer and competed at a national level in my teenage years. I've been a teacher and coach since the 1980s, and my passion for swimming has only grown. It's an essential life skill and a fantastic sport, and I've loved helping countless swimmers learn, improve, and reach their goals—whether it’s just to enjoy the water or to compete at a county, regional, or even national level and most recently a swimmer who competed at the youth Olympics.
I have a degree in Sports Science and am a Swim England Level 2 Teacher and Level 2 Coach.
I truly see hydroschool as a family where we all work together for the best interests of the kids.
I'm always happy to chat with parents, so feel free to say hello poolside!
Enjoy your swimming, Adrian

Congratulations to......

Wendy who becomes President of Sussex ASA for 2025-2026. A real honour and recognition of her involvement in teaching and swimming in Sussex.
Stefan who takes up the role of Assistant Sussex Coach for the Sussex Swim Team. A great achievement and well deserved.
